The Chemical Brothers — Don’t Think
It seems the Chemical Brothers are releasing a film of their excellent live show. Having seen the show twice I am looking forward to the film which looks nicely weird. The Guardian have an interesting article on it as well.

Have always loved this wine label, found it on a blog a while ago with no credit. Love the simplicity and intrigue. Makes me want to pick the bottle up and enjoy the wine.

Segoe vs Frutiger
Interesting section in the Wikipedia entry for the Microsoft typeface Segoe. In 2004 Linotype protested about the similarities between Frutiger and Segoe.
“In deciding such cases, the EU looks at type specimens at 16 point size. At that point size, subtle differences between similar but genuinely different fonts may not be noticeable. On the other hand, this practice prevents font makers from plagiarizing font designs and then introducing tiny differences into the pirated font designs for the sole purpose of gaining licensing”
I have always wondered what criteria they used. You are going to see a lot more of Segoe as the typeface in the UI of Windows 8 and Windows Metro for its phone OS.
