Interesting section in the Wikipedia entry for the Microsoft typeface Segoe. In 2004 Linotype protested about the similarities between Frutiger and Segoe.

I have always wondered what criteria they used. You are going to see a lot more of Segoe as the typeface in the UI of Windows 8 and Windows Metro for its phone OS.
